I don't know if that Chinese multi-band antenna needs a ground plane/pizza pan. My antenna mount tripod has one handy, so I am using it. My first tests were without the pan and I didn't notice any before/after differences but did not do any extensive testing. The CSRS-PPP position error ellipse results were pretty much the same.
