This link talks about CPOM option.  Perhaps part of P rubbed off?

I read somewhere, 5V thing is just a cost saving and nothing else.  From memory, I recall it's just a 3 terminal regulator inside.  Perhaps that blew???

I'm stuck in a wormhole....  Hello, worms!

I recently acquired an FE 5650A 10 MHz standard.  So far, I cannot get the
status indictor to lock.

This 5650A has option "CFOM" whatever that means.  It appears the 5650A came
in several configurations.  I do not see that option listed in the FE
manual.  My other 56050A has option 20 and lets me use a single +15V supply.

It's possible that lock isn't occurring because it may need a +5V supply
like 5650A models that do NOT have option 20.  I am using a +15V Dell laptop
supply that works great with the working 56050A.  A status LED and 2N3906
transistor was added into the DB-9 power connector to indicate when lock is
achieved.  Never a problem with the working 5650A.

Can anyone provide any information with respect to option "CFOM?"
