Another way to do it is use a Trimble Thunderbolt (or one of its many
cousins), pull out the original 10MHz oscillator, and just wire the FRS-C
to the 10MHz and EFC (there are even pads to install SMA connectors on many
units).  Done.

You get buffered 10MHz and 1pps outputs.  It can be controlled with Lady
Heather, so you can play with gain and damping to get best performance.
You get all kinds of data display and logging capability with LH as well.
You can't go wrong.

I have done this with a PRS-10 and it works.
