My apologies that was the User Manual.  The only place I know that has the Maintenance Manual is Telford Electronics in the UK (they sell photocopies).

Little update: tried shorting SP2 jumper but the meter stops reading DC volts, like if the input is disconnected, no more tests on this, I disconnected the jumper like as before...
strange ?
