Thanks for the link, Todd.

It's a great site, I didn't find, even I looked for it. I regular check xDevs for interesting project.

I have looked to the page and found a minor errors I like to note:
The "Datron 1281 Calibration and service manual, Volume 1, Issue 1, July 1989"
in fact is the complete SM (Vol1 and Vol2), I know as I have uploaded to KO4BB myself :-)

My firmware is: v3.12, 05/11/96. I have placed the ROM files to a Dropbox folder.

On the site is mentioned, you are looking for the specs of the DC405E2 (VFD 1x40 DOT Matrix Display).
I could manage to get the original spec from ITRON service some years ago (I am a good customer).
I have optimized and added some useful information. I dropped to the Dropbox also.

I had the plan for a "Datron 1281 DC4052 replacement". Mine was broken on shipping.
I have added a picture of latest state of project.
It's on hold, as I got a complete Display Assembly and had no need for anymore.

I will keep the Dropbox for one week, than I will delete as I need the space for a joined project.
