My Z3805A just started showing the red error lite on the front of the unit.
All the tests show OK except the EFC
Self Test = OK
Int Pwr = OK
Oven Pwr = OK
OCXO = OK
EFC = Err
GPS Rcv = OK
Any Idea where and what to look for?
Thanks !!!

You can read the EFC value as either a percent (:DIAG:ROSC:EFC:REL?) or as
an absolute value (:DIAG:ROSC:EFC:ABS?) to check if it is pegged (EFC is 20
bits). When the OCXO is sort of end-of-life the EFC should peg, it can be
corrected if there is the mechanical frequency trim. The Z3805 should have
the HP10811 (if it was not modified) that has the mechanical frequency trim.
