Hi,
Recently brought home the above item for the lab. Clean inside and
powers up, but doesn't exit post and stops with the message:
Bad Data
Suspected bad eeproms, so replaced those with the same result.
Found the user manual, but just a page of service info. Anyone have
a service manual for this, or even the required sequence to reset
everything to manufacturers defaults ?. Has the ieee option and can
access that if required, but nothing relevant in the published remote
command set...
Thanks,
Chris

I've eyed those up occasionally; I hope to find one someday. I have
the maintenance and calibration "manual", all of seven pages. Let me
know if you want me to send you a copy.

Dave,
Thanks a lot. If you have it in pdf, you can email to:
chris at tridac.net
or, let me know how much to post to the uk and
will paypal. Let me know if I can help with
anything from Sunny old England.
It's a neat unit and worth fixing. Came from
a tech scrap recovery company, via the usual site.
Pretty much undamaged other than one of the front
plastic handles has sheared off. Probably dropped
on to it. Iirc, it's 6809, so push come to shove,
can disassemble that to see what other goodies
are hidden within...
Regards,
Chris

It's sad to hear when good equipment gets trashed. I hope you're
able to resurrect it. Good luck.
