Indeed. If they would only would find the HP5372A service manual and put it up.
The HP5372A is quite different from the HP5371A, hardware histogram and all.

I beleive the HP5373A is the HP5372A with some additional software, wrapped to
a new product which can be directed to those that needs it (the radar guys).

Anyway, I beleive you and Chuck where particular interested in the manuals, so
now you can download them for free. The big thing in the HP5372A Programming
Manual is the binary dump mode, which is really nothing else than more or less
raw data from the sampling hardware and you have to do all the post-processing
on your own, and the manual details how you should do that. I have already
started writing software that does this and other measurements which the
HP5372A doesn't do natively. The Progammers Manual puts you fairly deep into
the instrument and the measurements it does. For some stuff you really need the
Operating Manual so one has to read them as pairs if you want to do serious
programming.
