I've seen our GPS at work fail for two reasons:

1) Waterlevel in GPS antennas "hermetic" too high. Also, the spider who nested
   in it had died too. I think we still have the pictures around.

2) The rare event of the OCXO failed. First time ever apparantly for that type
   of equipment.
