[time-nuts] HP 8924C's on ebay

Hello,

I don't know about the HP 8924, but I have two HP 8922S I was given,
that I suppose that they are its GSM counterpart. The 8922S is not very
useful outside of GSM world, really. The spectrum analyzer has quite
narrow sweeps (about 8MHz maximum span if I'm right), the RF generator
cannot be audio modulated, and I doubt that it can be used as a tracking
generato, and well... the AF generator and analyzer is quite good - but
very heavy and bulky unit only to be used for audio ;). It is pretty
useless as a general RF communication tester. However, I don't know the
differences with the 8924, but in any case, I would be very carefull
before purchasing it :).

Best regards,

Javier, EA1CRB
