[time-nuts] Odetics 325 - 865

Roy,

I have found a manual for the 425 SatSync, which was the later 2U version of
the 325. It may have what you need to get you going. Will send to you
directly.

As a quick check - see what you have on the antenna connector when unit
powered up. Check DC voltage coming out - will probably be +12VDC. Also if a
10 MHz sine coming out also then the antenna will be the down converting
type (which are a bit hard to find, although I believe that the Meinberg
GPS-ANT www.meinberg.de/english will do the job).

If nothing coming out - check for a fuse in-line with the antenna connector.

More later.

Rob

Rob
My thanks to you - I would be very pleased to have any information on this
325-865, in particular - what are the antenna requirements - is it an
'active' type. There is a warning label adjacent to the antenna connector
stating that damage may occur if an antenna is connected, or disconnected
when the instrument is powered up ? Also what is the access route though
the system to clear the "lock-up" ?
Looking forward to any information you may be able to offer.

regards

Roy
