[time-nuts] z3801a gps signal reflection and EFC woes

Hi guys,
 
that's right, leave the old GPS in there so the firmware won't  complain. 
Just cut the 1PPS signal between the GPS and main-board, and feed-in  an 
external 1PPS with higher stability, the Z3801A will never know the  difference.
 
Should work well.

I  think he was talking about simply wiring around the VPs 1 PPS output,  
getting the 1 PPS signal from a better source. Leave the VP receiver in  
place otherwise (so the Z3801A is blissfully  unaware).
