Hello Arnold,

That feature is already in the current release (v 2.0).   You can use the 'w' keyboard command to write the data to a file.  You can select either the complete buffer or just the time span displayed on the screen.

normally I do run LH without the log option tick. but in some cases 
it would be fine for me to have still the option to save (or discard)  the 
data when stopping the program.
