[time-nuts] CPLDs for clock dividers

CPLDs tend to be light of power/ground pins so expect more noise if you have 
other logic in the same chip.

If you are only using it for divide by N, I'd expect them to be reasonably 
good.  How clean is your power supply?  How good do you want?
