[time-nuts] EZGPIB writing to a file - disk thrashing

When using the Prologic USB-to-GPIB adapter and the EZGPIB (Ulrich Bangert) software to log results of HP5334A to a file - do you worry about thrashing your hard drive?
If for example you are taking one measurement per second, then does it make sense to try to queue-up 60+ measurements before writing to a file?
Or does the software/OS (Win7 in my case) take care of that?
Thanks/Regards,
Jerome
