There are more components to 1PPS generation than just input filters
and crystals. Yes, some components have hardly any effect, others do.
What exactly has an effect depends highly on the exact setup of the
system and how the software works.
The trouble with you, Shev, is you don't say anything until you've saved
up a whole truckload of damned heavy brick arguments and then you dump
