[time-nuts] Tek The Oscilloscope Reference Kit

Personally, I intend to stay with the Tek 7000 analog scopes as long as
possible. My choices there are the 7854 and 7904A and 7834.

They may not be the latest and greatest technology, but at least they do
not lie to me. I will admit that some features, like FFT, are handy at
times.

Oh, and the 7000s can be fixed! None of this "board exchange" for "only"
$5000 nonsense.

A number of years ago, a Sci Fi writer posed a test for an artificial
inteligence system. A person was put in a room with a Teletype (that tells
you how old. LoL) and is asked to determine by conversation whether there
was a person or a 'puter on the other end.

Until there is a digital 'scope that is indistinguishable in function from
an analog one, I'll stick by my preferences.

YMMV,

-John
