[time-nuts] GPIB Card locks up motherboard

Thanks to the kind help from the list I now have my Racal-Dana 1992
sending readings to a National Instruments GPIB PCII/PCIIa board
in PCIIa mode default settings.  This is with an Abit BH6 mobo with a
300 MHz PIII.   That is not the fastest gun in the west.

If I plug the GPIB card into a BX6 running at 800 MHz that board stops 
working.
It won't even display its start up screen.  I've tried random different 
switch
settings on the GPIB card to no avail.

Any suggestions?  Do I need to get a GPIB card with a 16 bit AT connector?
