.. because they are quadrature samples, so it's +/- 40 KHz.  In fact some 
of the software driver the device at 192 KHz, yielding almost enough 
bandwidth for FM stereo (but not quite).  +/- 80 KHz RF, about 80 KHz 
baseband.
