[time-nuts] Browning RH-10 WWV Receiver

Picked up this unit recently at an auction. It uses those funky vacuum field
effect devices with the 8-pin KSC (Keyed Single Circular) pinout.

 

For a 50+ year old instrument, it is in immaculate condition except for the
missing bottom plate, but that could be easily remedied.

 

I am reluctant to power it up due to its age and not knowing when it last
had voltage on the 'lytics.

 

I haven't tried Google yet, but does anyone have any doc's on this critter
or other knowledge?
