[time-nuts] Video about oscillator drift

Some may be familiar with this guy's video blog. I came across it not too
long ago. While looking back through the old videos, I came across this one:

Mostly basic stuff, but still interesting. The first thing that came to my
mind was, why didn't he just timestamp all the data. Wouldn't correlating
the timestamps later account for any oscillator drift? Perhaps I am missing
something (quite possible).
