He took the picture 20 months ago. If he was going to neaten things up, there was plenty of time to do it. 

I doubt he knows what he does or does not have. It may even be part of an estate. Based on it’s appearance, and it’s known issues (tube !!) why would one want to pay the shipping on 850 lbs (plus crating), let alone what they are asking. What are the odds of any of us getting that beast to work in anything near it’s original configuration? Yes you could rip part out and transplant a modern modular Cs into it. That makes it a very large box for a very small Cs. 

I have paid a lot of money over the years for “stuff”. I’m not in any way saying that buying “stuff” is a bad idea. If you could make it work, that’s certainly neat stuff. My only issue here is - what’s this going to do for somebody?
