[time-nuts] 100 MHz Oscillators

Hello,

I’m responding to John Miles comment about 100 MHz oscillators.

We’ve managed to design a 100 MHz OXCO that makes –140 dBc @ 100 Hz with –182 dBc @ 1 MHz.

We also have a design on the table that should improve the 100 Hz to –145 dBc, but haven’t had the time or money to actually build it yet.

These oscillators I keep mentioning are mainly sold to military uses. They outperform any competitor especially for ageing, but do cost at least twice as much.

So you get what you pay for!!
