Hi Bert,

I would appreciate your info/experience about the GPSDO and using this GPS receiver module...if this gives any additional preciosity of the present known system.......or what kind of special data from the receiver improve the GPSDO parameters......
Just found recently that the Trimble resolution-T vers 06 has major deficiencies.. and has to use the not new but usable version...minimum is the
 App.... 1.14.0 date 03/02/06 .
GPS CORE 1.25.0 date
and this version can be update to 1.17......
I am also sorry that the good old " time-nuts " list is not anymore the same as before...but many people used as a chat surface not related to time-nuts subject.....or discussing technical related subject to improve the precise time measurement or the GPSDO improvements.....

best rgds Ernie.

Having used lately ublox 6M for GPSDO work I decided to buy a couple of MAX
  7C's on ebay for $ 16.00 181293242043
Super results. We are going to do some saw tooth analysis but most likely
will not post them because the deterioration of the list has resulted in
many on the real time nuts have gone away and do like we do every thing off
list since this has deteriorated in to a chat room with the majority of the
listings not time or frequency related.
Serious time nuts can contact me off list and maybe be added to the group.
We are doing some neat projects.

Don
will continue to be part of the list but am frustrated with the loss of
ome of the best we used to have and I do not consider my self one of them,
ut I learned immensely from then. I am not the only one with that opinion
ooking at the number of responses I am getting.
do not know how long you have been on the list but it used to be
ifferent and better.

bert,
and how, please, are us newbies and dabblers supposed to learn from you,
he elite time-nuts, when you keep your discoveries secret, only
ccessible to a group of hand-picked individuals? of course, this is a
ree world, and you, like everybody, is free to share or not to share
our knowledge. however, this is my place to learn, and you don't do me
favour by saying goodbye to the group. why not share your knowledge
ere, ignore the silly questions of the not so bright, but give them the
pportunity to follow your discussions with the ones that are on a par
ith you? that i'd appreciate very much!

Hans
we are not elite most of those have long gone if you look back four years
re more and that is my main frustration since none of the things I have
orked on would have been possible with out them. We will announce some work
oon but the frustration is with the listings that have absolutely nothing
o do with time nuts issues and that has resulted that some of our best do
ot consider it worth while to enter a dialog.

am not saying good bye and let me make clear there no such thing as a
illy question as long as it is on time frequency subjects.
s an example a couple of years ago it deteriorated in to discussion of
erman Home Radiator brass fittings having built a home in Germany I know
bout the subject but some how did not think this was the place.

still hope that some say enough is enough and maybe get back to what it
as and again when on subject there are no stupid questions. Not asking is
sign of ignorance and stupidity. But on this site please limit it to time
ut issues.
e have a small group off list and will expand it to focus on time nut
rojects since focused dialog on a project has not been possible for quite some
time.
s an example a GPSDO for the FE 5680 that if there is an interest could
ave a kit price of $ 45 shipping and handling included. Have to find some
ne that will do the kitting and shipping I will definitely not do it. There
s plenty of margin for some one. Actual Material cost will be between $ 15
nd 20 depending on volume.
