Hi Bert,

Disconnect filament from PCB (one end is enough) and connect to regulated DC Power supply. Adjust voltage to 8V and current to 0.3-0.4A. In a dark room should see very small red light. Slowly increase little bit voltage until color goes to orange-yellow. Important - do not move display during procedure. Keep filament powered for 5-7 min and after that reconnect filament to PCB. Power on counter and share result.
