I'm going to be out of town or off-grid for a while so we're turning off time-nuts moderation. This means all postings will go straight to the membership without screening or delay. Actually, for most of the history of time-nuts this is how the list worked, so it's nothing new. You may notice a gradual increase in posting accidents, html mix-ups, duplicate postings, commercial abuse, or worthless noise. Just ignore it.

As always, good on-topic questions are always welcome, especially from new-comers. The list works best when replies are based on someone's solid education, deep experience, or actual experimentation. The list breaks down when threads go off-topic or never expire, or when people start using time-nuts as if it were social media, or when the sheer volume of postings pushes people away. Please do you part to keep the S/N very high. The list, and the community it spawned, is precious.

Note also that everything on the list is publicly archived, not just at the official https://www.febo.com/pipermail/time-nuts/ site but also numerous public and private mirrors on the 'net. It is impossible for me (leapsecond.com) or John (febo.com) to retract content. So when moderation is off please double check your postings and especially the To: line.

Administrative questions or comments can go to John (jra at febo.com) or Tom (tvb at leapsecond.com) directly.

Thanks,
/tvb
