Yes, the altitude error estimates are generally around twice the lat/lon values. I'm currently playing with taking the same 16 hour/1 sec interval data set (from a Trimble Acutime GG receiver) and decimating it to 5/10/30 second intervals and also to 2/4/8/16 hour lengths and seeing how the results change.
