Many of us who scan time & frequency documents and manuals place our PDF's on Didier's massive free manual site:
http://www.ko4bb.com/getsimple/index.php?id=manuals

You'll find dozens of cesium and rubidium manuals available there. Click on his PayPal donate button if you wish (Christmas is coming soon).

Also, look for manuals scanned by time-nut Dave at artekmanuals.com who also uses the eBay user name artekmedia. Some years ago I loaned him my Atomichron and my mint condition hp 5061A, 5061B, 5062C, 5065A manuals. The scan quality is extremely good, far better than what I could do at home. And the price he charges (plus free postage) is very reasonable. Search for rubidium or cesium from "items for sale" at:
https://www.ebay.com/usr/artekmedia

I'll compare Hugh's manual with the 5061B manual(s) I have here to see how it compares with Didier's or Dave's offering.

Yeah, sorry about that. We still have formatting issues with some ISP's like aol and yahoo.

My first job with HP was to be the junior member of a two man development team to freshen up the 5016A Cesium Standard with procurable electronics, as some of the components in the 5061A were getting obsolete after 10+ years of production.
> Roberto Montesi was my fantastic mentor, and the lead of this little team. My job was to redesign the clock display from TTL logic and LED's, to a 4000 series CMOS and a LCD display, and to redesign the battery charger board. Both were great projects for a new engineer, and I was able to dramatically simplify the designs with modern components. Roberto redesigned the main power supply board, and the frequency divider module, plus some other stuff. (There is a good story behind a 10MHz 10811 oscillator, being divided down to 5MHz, and then multiplied back up to 10MHz before being presented to the customer on the front pannel. )
> One of jobs on the 5061B program was to update the service manual. I was the engineering editor working with the service manual team to update all the text and schematics, and text for the whole manual. The 5016A manual was about 1/3 yellow "change sheets" from all the production changes over the years, and needed a clean reset.
