[time-nuts] new R+S phase noise test set

Hi,
we here at AXTAL do have this FSWP 26 GHz version since about a year. The
most fantastic feature is the measurement speed and accuracy. The main
problem it has created in our lab: since we got the FSWP, it has become the
favorite instrument and thus is now our bottleneck for PN testing. Every
engineer and technician wants to use only the FSWP, while our other phase
noise testers, E5052B and Noise XT, are running in stand-by mode.
Yes, it was not cheap, as you said: more than a car, less than a house.

A lot of interesting capabilities for measuring pulsed signals and 
characterizing things like VCOs -


I cringe to think what it costs - It's in that RF test equipment bracket 
of more than a car, less than a house, I suspect. But hey, at work, it 
might be just what you or I need.
