[time-nuts] OCXO Question

I bought half a dozen to measure their PN for somebody else - there is nothing special about them on that front.
Later on I ripped them open and they were both double oven and unused - like advertised.
Being cheap and ubiquitous is the only thing special about them... Or is it?
