Interesting thanks. I was wondering if it's worth for me to upgrade to RPI 
4........ Have you also managed to measure the connection jitter as well?

The delay jitter is significantly less.  I would balance the increased 
performance against the increased power consumption and CPU temperature - 
your choice.
