[time-nuts] Trueposition GPSDO - patience is a virtue

Hello Time-Nuts,
Wow, what a difference a day makes. Seems that the Trueposition GPSDO
has a fairly low gain/long time constant in the 'normal' mode of
operation. So, at startup it could not keep up with the oscillator
drift. This led to it dropping into the 'acquire' mode which has
higher gain/shorter time constant to reset the phase.

Once the OCXO drift slowed down the 'normal' loop operation was able
to handle things without a problem and it has been running in that
mode continuously now. I have attached the 24 hours since start up of
the 10MHz output. Yesterday's attachment was just the first couple of
cycles of the reset. They did indeed slow down as the oscillator
drift slowed down, and after a few hours there were no more resets.

Regards,
