Matsushita is now Panasonic (Global corporate brand name synchronization).
Aromat was a subsidiary under Matsushita, your GPS antenna is also known as:
Aromat GPS-A-32-TNC-02-W

Today, current Panasonic GPS antennas (VIC-100 series, 13 variations)

Nortel Networks GPS Timing Module (GPSTM) was paired with that antenna (long time ago). RDR Electronics had a copy of the Manual.
Page 77 had the required details (specs) that you asked for.
https://www.rdrelectronics.com/skip/nov/GPSTM_spec.pdf

The Nortel GPSTM shall be expected to operate with the Aromat GPS-A-32-TNC-02-W (Matsushita CCA532ST02) antenna providing the RF input.
This antenna requires a +5V +/-0.5V supply via the antenna cable centre conductor. The antenna cable shield shall provide the return path for the DC supply.

So your antenna should work with +5 volt GPS receivers.
The pre-amplifier module, inside the antenna, can fail — BUT can be repaired.

Subject: [time-nuts] Looking for specs for a Matsushita CCA532ST02 GPS antenna

Hi all,

I have a Matsushita CCA532ST02 GPS antenna that has been sitting in a parts
box in the garage probably for the past 20 years.
I've done a few searches on the web for specs but have come up empty.
I believe this GPS antenna is similar to a HP 58504A or AROMAT
GPS-A-32-TNC-02-W.

Does anyone have the specs for the antenna or can confirm the voltage
required to power the LNA?

I think it requires 5v to power the LNA but wouldn't swear to it. Would
prefer not to fry it if it is still good.

Also, can anyone confirm the threads for the mast adapter?
I believe it is 1.0-14UNS-2A based on another more recent model.

Thanks in advance,
Scott AA5AM
