Hello,

Several days ago, someone posted "Next up drop it in a solder seal base and solder it into an enclosure." as a part of his response.
I thought, "OMG....suggesting to use a solder-seal-base is a recipe for ageing."
Instead, resistance-weld or, even better yet, cold-weld should be used.

Also, perhaps I missed it, but I did not see any mention of needing a clean room in which to finish the blanks.
I recall seeing, at the facility where I worked, tens of women smoking while finishing crystals to frequency; that practice ended in the early 70s.
