[time-nuts] Model numbers of RS232 to GPIB controllers

Hello to the group.
Several have asked what the old rs-232 to GPIB/HPIB controllers were.
The correct model is the IOtech micro488 and blackbox 488ex.
But looking at ebay there are various models with a range of prices such
that it makes no sense to look at these units if you can't get them for
$20. Otherwise the USB units are a far better way to go given the price
difference between the used unit and a new USB adapter.
Last comment though the pricing on ebay always seems a bit silly. There are
a ton of IOtech units available for all kinds of uses. Might be a case of
"make an offer" and get a nice unit to use for various data acquisition.
