[time-nuts] Two barn treasures

Dear friends,

Some people fantasize about finding a classic car in a dusty barn.  If you
dream of finding old oscillators or precision clocks, then I have just what
you want.  I uncovered the following in my barn:

1.	HP 107AR quartz oscillator  5/1 MHz, 100 kHz.  28VDC with power plug
2.	Spectracom 8165 WWVB disciplined oscillator w/Option 52 (12VDC
input). I think that I have the printed manual.

Both units were operational the last time I used them, sometime in the early
1980s.  Since then, mice have been inside both of them.  I don't see any
evidence of chewed wires but they have left their excretory marks
everywhere.  Do not assume that either unit will work upon arrival.  The WWV
receiver won't truly work anyway because of format changes at WWVB.
