When sadness I want to inform you of the passing of Dr. David L. Mills, inventor of a thing that keeps the internet together without fail, as you all know.

Somebody in the fediverse used this image, and I approve greatly. Not a lot of people appreciate the importance of accurate timekeeping on computers. And Doctor David Mills has been instrumental in that.
