[volt-nuts] Solartron 7081 Calibration Update

Jerry,

I really doubt the calibration and alignment will be free. I am going to
email Alan Highton (UK) and Lea Ann Cox (USA) to see if I can get a copy of
the invoice. All that came with unit was the calibration report and the
left over parts.

The calibration was to 'BS EN ISO9001:2008' standards. I scanned the report
and can send you a copy if you would like to take a look at it. It's my
first ever sending anything out for calibration. Kind of makes me feel like
my 'hobby' is moving up a step. Also gives me confidence now that I can
make accurate adjustments on some power meters, etc.

Joe

      Hi Joe,

Please keep us in the loop for this continuing story. Free (!) Repair/Cal,
eh - maybe I should send my unit in before they figure things out...

What sort of environment do you have. Most gear, and particularly one at
this performance level, is cal'ed at a specific ambient
temperature/humidity. If you're using it as a transfer standard you should
take this into account.
