[volt-nuts] Cleaning/lubricating voltage dividers

Hello, first post here.
I recently picked up a General Radio 1455 K-V voltage divider.  Most of the knobs are really tight; one doesn't move at all.  Any recommendations on chemicals to clean and lubricate the dials?
