Regarding the subject line of Jim's newsletter announcement:
What, exactly, is "anonymous propagation"? Is it even permissible
to use this on any of the amateur bands?
And while we're on the subject of novel propagation modes, is it
possible that there could also be such a thing as "unanimous
propagation"? What would it be like?

I suspect that someone's spell checker made an anonymous change to the
title! 😬

I just looked up the regulation. You can use anonymous propagation as
long as the transmitted signal identifies the origin.

Daun you are correct.. This is the first time that my keyboard helper got
it wrong. It has always got it right in the past, so I wasn't paying
attention to what it guessed.. Jim

Ed, are you saying that it's OK if the propagation mode
strips off the ID, as long as the transmitting station does
its thing according to current FCC regs?
Come to think of it, I guess that pretty accurately describes
the situation in any really weak signal work.

So maybe we should consider changing the name of the newsletter?

Hmmm, maybe that would be a good idea, Tom. Fun to
