Fellow time-nuts,

The US Air Force is now more openly discussing the issues and means to
mitigate them relating to SVN-49. It has provided an interesting
exercise as not all the means available to mitigate that just reading
ICD-GPS-200 may be applicable. They are discussing a number of different
options and is attempting to get feedback from userland.

I just wanted to mention it for heads-up if anyone care to look at it.

Oh, and the russians keeps tossing up GLONASS sats:

21 sats in operation and 2 as flying spare. The spares is old birds
being replaced by the new.
Three slots remain unused at this time. Orbital plane II launch next
time? CDMA at 1,2 GHz L3 later this year. They also cook up their own
SBAS system. Shaping up over there.

Cheers,
Magnus
