A run of the mill GPS will provide a 1pps pulse with 10s of nsec 
uncertainty.  A batch of identical GPSes in the same place will NOT, in 
general, be synchronized closer than that (it's more about the internal 
clock of the receiver which has an uncertainty around that value)
