[time-nuts] Pressure sensitivity of Rb vapor cell standards

Moin,

I'm currently going through some of my old stuff and stumbled
over [1], which, I think, has not been mentioned here. But
I remember a few people talking about compensating the 5065
for pressure sensitivity. 

I also recommend having a look at Nil's paper[2], which discusses
the placment of the whole cell in hermetically sealed box for
pressure stability and notes that there is a residual barometric
pressure shift related to temperature changes. The paper contains
also a lot of pointers of what to look for, for additional sources
of instability in Rb vapor cells. Especially note that light shift,
ie the frequency shift due to changes in light intensity are the
major source of instability (as noted in many other papers).
