[time-nuts] Synthesized Signal Generator query

Hi Jim,
The 100K to 3G frequency range of the 8664A is what I'm looking for as a
general signal source. The low phase noise needed will mostly be under
100MHz for work on clock, trigger and timing circuits. Thanks for the reply,

what frequency range do you need?  the venerable 8664A is 100k to 3G.
Just so folks know what phase noise you're shooting for:
at 1 GHz, -110dBc @ 1kHz out, -135 @ 10kHz out, -150 @ 100k, -160 @ 1 M
